Public change history for the QS AlcoRhythm app. Latest entries are at the top.
The full technical changelog is maintained in the Flutter app repository. This page contains a user-oriented summary.
0.3.3 — 2026-09-01
Google Play update notices (version 0.3.3, build 51).
Added
- Available-update message (Android): when a newer version is in Google Play, the app may show a dialog — Update or Later. Using the app is not blocked.
- Prepared for required updates: in the future the app may require a minimum version. Currently nothing is forced — you can keep using your current installation.
0.3.2 — 2026-08-26
Launch Premium promotion (version 0.3.2, build 50).
Added
- Full Premium free until 28 February 2027: every user gets full Premium automatically — no card, trial, or Google Play subscription required. After that date, users without a subscription return to Free; your data stays unchanged.
- “Premium on start” message: after updating, existing users see a one-time dialog about the promotion (new users skip it after onboarding).
- In Settings / Premium Account you see the status “Premium — launch promotion” when access comes from the promotion.
Improved
- Purchases during the promotion: the app does not offer a new Monthly/Yearly purchase or “Buy Premium” — Premium is already available. “Restore purchases” remains available. After the promotion ends, subscription offers return automatically; existing store subscriptions stay unchanged.
0.3.1 — 2026-08-18
Updates during Google Play testing (version 0.3.1).
Added
- Calories from alcohol (Free and Premium): an approximate value from grams of pure alcohol (about 7 kcal per gram) — not the calorie content of the whole drink. Shown on the entry, as a daily total on Today, and compactly next to the date in History.
- Sobering chart with absorption phase (Premium): the curve rises after a drink, shows an estimated peak, then falls toward zero; “Now” and “Peak” markers, a current-time line, and a short note that this is an orientation-only simulation — not a basis for deciding whether you can drive.
- Consumption time when adding or editing: choose date and time (Now, 30 minutes ago, 1 hour ago, or custom) — including quick entries on Today.
- Volume display unit (ml / cl / dl): choose it in onboarding and in Settings → Personalization; storage and backup remain in ml.
- One-time update notice: existing users see a message about the new volume unit.
- Quick entries: limits 2 (Free) / 10 (Premium); full preset list in a bottom sheet instead of tiles on the Today screen.
- Entry sheet (Premium): custom volume (ml) and strength (%) when logging a drink.
- Today: fifth drink category — low-alcohol beverages.
- Backup: weekly limit change history is saved in the JSON file and restored on import.
- Premium activation confirmation after a successful purchase or subscription restore.
Improved
- Estimated alcohol level (Free and Premium): the value now accounts for absorption time — right after logging a drink it stays near zero and rises over the next minutes instead of jumping to the full amount.
- Android: better Google Play display compliance — edge-to-edge layout, no orientation lock; on wider screens content stays in a readable, centered column; status bar matches the theme.
- Weekly limit: clearer drink examples when setting your limit (personalization and onboarding).
- Today: smoother daily category intro (especially in the free version).
- Analysis: range colors refresh immediately after switching light/dark theme.
- Clearer alcohol strength labels when logging drinks.
- Help, legal, and app-info links open the matching QbaSoft pages for your language (PL/EN/DE/FR/IT).
Fixed
- Quick entries: clearer empty-state copy (no misleading “button below”).
- You can no longer save an entry with a time in the future.
- Links to subscription terms, the product page, and support in Settings work correctly.
- Limit status at exactly 100% shows “Limit reached”, not “Over limit”.
- Week number colors in History — green when the limit is exactly met (e.g. 180g/180g).
- Removed the visible Premium code field from Settings — purchase goes through Premium Account.
Estimated alcohol level chart in Premium
The Premium estimated alcohol level chart now includes an absorption phase (rise to peak, then decline) and time markers.
The free version still includes the basic textual estimate — now also accounting for absorption.
These are orientation-only estimates and must not be used to decide whether you can drive.
