This document describes how QS AlcoRhythm works and the rules for using the app.

2. Acceptance of terms
By installing, launching, or using QS AlcoRhythm, you confirm that you have read and accept these terms.
If you do not accept the terms, stop using the app and uninstall it.
3. What the app is
QS AlcoRhythm helps you log alcohol consumption and observe your own weekly rhythm relative to a limit you set.
The app is informational and supports self-observation. It does not replace common sense, medical knowledge, or your own decisions.
4. Age and legal alcohol consumption
QS AlcoRhythm relates to alcohol and is intended only for people who may legally consume alcohol in their country (in Poland: persons aged 18 or over).
By using the app, you declare that you meet this requirement. QbaSoft does not encourage excessive alcohol consumption.
5. No medical advice
QS AlcoRhythm is not:
- a medical device,
- a diagnostic tool,
- addiction therapy,
- an app for treating, preventing, or monitoring disease,
- an emergency support line.
The app does not diagnose addiction or health status and does not recommend specific medical interventions.
If you have concerns about health, addiction, or a life-threatening situation, contact a doctor, specialist, or local emergency services — do not rely on the app.
BAC / promille estimates (if available) are for orientation only and are not for assessing fitness to drive or making legal decisions.
6. Your responsibility for data
Data in the app is stored mainly locally on your device.
You are responsible for:
- the accuracy and sense of the data you enter,
- device security (screen lock, system updates),
- creating and storing backups if you want to protect data from loss,
- decisions about sharing backup files with others.
QbaSoft does not guarantee recovery of data lost through app deletion, device failure, or lack of a backup on your side.
7. Premium and subscription
The app offers an optional Premium plan with additional features described in the app. Premium is optional — core app features work without a subscription.
- Premium access may come from an active subscription through Google Play Billing, or from a time-limited launch promotion described in the app (currently: full Premium free until 28 February 2027, with no card and no purchase required).
- During the launch promotion the app may not offer a new subscription purchase (Monthly/Yearly) while you have promotion access and no store subscription yet; restore purchases may still be available.
- After the promotion ends, users without a subscription return to Free and subscription offers return in the app; data on the device stays unchanged. Existing store subscriptions are not cancelled by the promotion.
- Payments, renewals, cancellation, and refunds (when a subscription applies) are handled according to Google Play rules and your Google account.
- Canceling a subscription is done in your Google Play account settings (Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions), not directly in the QbaSoft app.
- Trial periods (if available) are granted by Google Play on first purchase of a given plan — see details in the app and in the store.
- Current prices and plans (outside periods when purchase is not offered) are shown in the app and in Google Play; promotion details are shown in the app.
Features marked in the app as planned or in preparation may not yet be available.
8. Permitted use
You agree to use the app lawfully and in accordance with these terms.
The following is prohibited, among other things:
- reverse engineering the app beyond what the law allows,
- bypassing Premium or license protections,
- using the app in a way that infringes third-party rights,
- impersonating QbaSoft or misleading other users.
9. Intellectual property
QS AlcoRhythm, its name, interface, graphics, and code are protected by copyright and belong to QbaSoft (or its licensors).
You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use the app on your own device in accordance with Google Play terms and this document.
10. Changes to the app and terms
QbaSoft may update the app (new features, fixes, interface changes) and modify these terms. The app may notify you when a Google Play update is available. In the future QbaSoft may require a minimum version for security or store-compliance reasons — currently no version is blocked.
Material changes to the terms will be published at the same URL with a new update date. Continued use of the app after changes are published means acceptance of the updated terms, unless the law provides otherwise.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- the app is provided “as is”,
- QbaSoft does not guarantee that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted,
- QbaSoft is not liable for your decisions about alcohol consumption, health, or safety based on information from the app,
- QbaSoft is not responsible for loss of local data on your device,
- QbaSoft’s liability to you as a consumer is limited in accordance with mandatory applicable law.
12. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it.
QbaSoft may discontinue the app or certain features for important reasons (e.g. legal requirements), with reasonable notice where possible.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by Polish law, unless mandatory provisions provide otherwise for consumers.
